Calving question for those that AI. On mature cows do you still see more calves born a few days early like with heifers or more calving a few days late?

Depends on the cow and the bull Hoss. Gestation varys on different bulls and cows. I think big birth weights comes with longer gestation.

I agree Red Bull. I was just thinking about the majority of bulls I see have a negative gestation length number. I figure with so many bulls like this getting used for so long that a trend of shorter gestation would start happening over a period of time. Most of my cows seem to be a day to a week earlier than the gestation chart shows. I had 1 cow calve late last year and the calf was bigger than normal.
