I think Grit needs a phone call on this one. Over 150 girls have given testimony that he molested them while giving them treatment for injuries. He's already facing 60 years for possession of child pornography. This guy is a sick, sick man. The worst part is that staff at Michigan State and USA Gymnastics were warned about it several times and did nothing. They should be in jail as well.

Dead is the only cure for people like this. You can lock them away for ever how long but if they ever get out they'll re-offend. Something inside is just geared that way.

I feel sad for those girls and young ladies. You need to teach your kids to fight back every chance you can. I tell my kids all the time "if someone is going to do something bad to you, it won't be any worse if you fight back" And for this creep I'd even supply the bullet.

This man is mentally deranged. He deserves the maximum punishment under the law. I hope these women have a strong constitution and that they all fare well.

Vince: no one I have known in my lifetime is more of an advocate for killing another person at point blank range with a shot to the head as you are. I always assume your talk of killing another human is hyperbole. Personally, I cannot imagine shooting another defenseless person behind the ear at point blank range. I think it would be devastating. IN Self defense or protecting LIFE and limb of the innocent is a horse of another color.

I don't know. I believe in the death penalty. Not that it prevents crime, but it prevents that criminal from repeating their act. Sometimes a crime is so severe it deserves the most capital of punishments. Using your place of power to gain the confidence of children to molest them while performing one of the most sacred professions in society, while setting these victims up for a lifetime of mistrust, PTSD, lack of positive body image, etc. is inexcusable. This man was not the defenseless one in the equation. He made his bed, he now has to sleep in it. He will be placed in protective custody which I hope will amount to solitary. It will drive him insane with the lack of human contact. I hope the man lives another 50 years like that b/c his victims will never be able to remove his actions from their memory. However, it would be better if the man was dead. It might help everyone move on to some degree.

Do you like your tax dollars going for people like this for 20-30 more years at 100k+ a year? It would be a waste just shooting them when they have many good organs that could help somebody.

My point is not specific to this man or the issue of capital punishment. My issue is specific to the act of executing another person by carrying out the act oneself. In the case of capital punishment, the execution is carried out by the State. Having said that, I will repeat - to fire a projectile at point blank range into the head of another defenseless person is an act that no one should have to carry out.

I've heard it's like a high to them, like a drug addict... I'd have no trouble putting one to permanent rest... And I'd sleep like a drunk hobo...you don't hurt a child period..

I don't think I'd have a problem either but I've never shot anyone that was defenseless either. I think I'd tell him what I thought of him and pull the trigger. This is a tough one because there's so many victims, the victims or their families need to have a say in the punishment of the perpetrator. To me that's the way we stop a lot of this stuff from happening. I wouldn't want to place anymore guilt on an innocent victim.

The first dozen or so might turn your stomach a bit but much like the germans of WWII it would be no worse than killing a rat after that. Shoot'em all, put'em in a mass grave, cover it over and forget they ever existed, sleep like a baby when you get home.

He got 60 years from the feds. He has to serve at least 48 of those years. Then he gets to start his 175 years. General population would be the cure. A year maybe two would be all he would last. Save the cost of all the appeals and the execution.

In my mind he's not defenseless..those kids were innocent, and defenseless...

Some of you ruthless executioners should audition for John Wick 3.

That guy is True Grit on steroids. I like Keanu Reeves but John Wick is the ultimate in head shots, one after the other!!!

You guys are so full of bullshyt. I bet there is not a guy on this forum who has performed a head shot execution. But to hear you guys, you do it every morning before breakfast.

I never said I would or could kill the varmint. All I suggested was a nice cot in the middle of the prison for all the fellers to visit him.
