LA300

Hey guys,

What are ya'll thoughts on LA 300, as it is a broad spectrum antibiotic?

The combo we use for doctoring cattle right now is either Excede/Resflor or Draxxin KP/Baytrill. Had successes with both combos, some failures.

Wondering if LA 300 with something else might be a good combo? Of course nothing is perfect, we'll always lose some cows

Thanks guys
We use LA300 for certain situations. I know some who start a lot of calves who use it in their program and rotation.
What works for one don't for another. Last spring we had a bull we got that got real sick around 10 after purchase. Gave him a round of Nuflor and Bananine. Then a round of Draxxin and he still hadn't fully recovered. A friend who runs stockers and had doctored some with similar illness
Yes that might be Kenny.

Which usually when we turn the cattle out into pastures, they'll look good for about 2-3 weeks. Then after that is when the work starts. Appreciate your insight on LA300, we've used it some too for pink eye, but won't be incorporating it into our main treatments.
What works for one don’t for another. We bought a yearling bull who got real sick after 10 days. He got a round of Nuflor and Bananine and then a round of Draxxin and hadn’t fully recovered. Was told too give him Penicillin and B12. He fully recovered. If I don’t get results with my first choice I will try another antibiotic or treatment.
