Been having issues with my Kubota M100X. It seems an injector, injectors are probably leaking off. I'm being told that they are no aftermarket nor anyone that can rebuild them. They are saying Kubota still has the design and won't release any parts. $948 each. Going to have them tested but even one at that price is high. I cant handle $4000 for injectors. Anyone have any ideas?

Here is the engine Kubota V3800DI-T and on page 29-30 shows the injectors, but no part # for the injector nozzles. I would take them to Acme Diesel at Knoxville and have them pop tested as they can do it in about 5 minutes free. If you had the part # on the nozzle (they have to come out to get) as those folks can probably match some up to work or fix. Before I pay 4k I would see as that is a rip off. Seems I have had a lot of water in my diesel recently as I have been emptying the water trap on the tractor probably every month as water maybe causing you problems. (I wonder if it is not tank sweat from my storage causing it). Also diesel fuel has very little lube in it now as I always add something whether it helps or not I don't know.

This guy can fix you up. Kubota told me the same thing on my generator. Just shop around at some diesel injection shops I'm sure someone close by can fix you up.

The part number that jltrent mentioned seems to be the problem.

Also I would check at some other dealers on parts prices as some are alot higher than others as I have found out.

Our local Kubota mechanic is checking it all out. He has called several places already and they all give the same answer.

These are $110/piece and they are for the Kubota V3800 engine as China can make them apparently.

if you can get an injector out and bring it to a shop, they can get the actual nozzle (not body) number off it
Dang, I buy a whole tractor for the price of 4 of some of those injectors on JLtrent's link!

I'd be willing to bet Bosch makes the nozzle for it, lower part of the injector looks just like a 12V cummins injector.

What's the tractor doing that makes you think the injectors are bad?

It's maybe 8 years old. I owned it since new. Only done hay and bush hogged with it.
I see it from time to time as it looks like new. Probably not, but recon where lightening hit it could be causing an electrical issue as those will have a lot of sensors, computer boards etc. Your injectors should be in good shape as I bet the hours are not bad. I see were the computer showed nothing else wrong, but sometimes on those the issue is leading to what the computer says and not the end result it says.

It has 1200 hours. I got water in it bad is when it started giving problem. Jimmy put it on the computer and it says everything electrical is ok.

You may have already done what I am going to suggest. What shape is the air cleaner in.

I have never had a water issue until recently in my fuel. I can't figure it out, but I keep a close eye on it as it is a pain in the azz. I drain the bottom of the fuel filter on the tractors or empty the water resevor often.

This stuff works really good on Ford 7.3 injectors and pumps.
