Kline Grass

I have got 5 15 month old baldie brangus on some burned up pasture in north Texas. I started feeding them some small round bales of grass hay and went to feeding Kline grass round bales. They ate the first 1200 pound kline grass bale in 9 days. It took them 7 to eat the 500 pound grass bales. They are also getting about 6 lbs of range cubes a week.

Is it normal for them to eat that much? Is it like minerals it will taper off.

Cattle will eat about 2% of their body weight per day, sometimes more.
