Keeping squirrel out of corn patch

Several years ago my husband and I had trouble getting our corn before the squirrels got theirs. So here is what we finally got to work for us. We put up 2 ft high poultry wire and added one strand of electric wire above that, just far enough the squirrel can't get through but high enough he has to reach up, so as to be grounded. He gets the idea :shocks: Make sure the poultry wire has no place for the squirrel to crawl under though, :roll:

16 guage, sharp pocket knife, hot grease, biscuits, gravy.

poor squirrels haven't had a quiet meal in months - ok years :lol:

oh - did I mention that our corn gets trampled a bit? :shock:
