Kareem Hunt

The Bengals will probably pick him up. They already have Joe Mixon who was on video punching a girl in the face while he was in college, and they never shy away from guys like Pacman Jones that was there several years and had a rap sheet a mile long.

Had he not turned back to kick her when she was down everything could've been blamed on the actions of others.
Another disturbing thing was the big guy (acting as Hunt's body guard?) snatching the cell phone from the female bystander's hand who had appeared to start filming the incident.

I watched the interview this morning. He said he got canned because he wasn’t honest with Chiefs. So they would have kept him? Also, what precipitated it? Apply, Mixon was called the n word. I’m not sure that warranted that response, but it is a different story if she did.

That probably kept footage from becoming public for as long as it did....till someone leaked the hotel video.

So they would have kept him?
I doubt it.
It was a combination of him lying to the Chiefs and the severity of his actions that led to the Chief's recent actions.......plus the fact the Chiefs knew that since the whole country now saw what happened, they were stuck with having to do "something'..He left them no other recourse...they could no longer 'cover' for him

I think the Chiefs would have kept him... then the NFL placed Hunt on the exempt list meaning that he cannot
practice or play until they say so and KC used it as an opportunity to save face, money and public outcry.

All the sports announcers are coming down hard on Chiefs and NFL for not doing a better job of investigating the
allegations. IMO everyone should be coming down on the Cleveland police department for blowing off their duty
to investigate. The police investigative report differs completely from what is shown on the video. The police
did not bother getting the hotel surveillance video even though the woman begged them to at least view it.
But they blew her off and going any farther as too much of a bother.

Your wrong, there's no reason for putting your hands on someone else for something they said. Unless you believe you or your family are being threatened or for self-defense keep your hands to yourself.

I’m not saying I agreed with it. However, with the history of that word, and a young testosterone laden young man, it can get ugly quickly. That’s why I refrain from being too impolite to folks. While I have the right to free speech without violent repercussions, they may not feel that way.

Is that the order in which it happened? I thought KC let him go before he went on the exempt list.

Not the first time that has happened......in NFL but also and especially in NCAA.

KC front office was in close contact with NFL office ever since video went public and 40 minutes after Hunt was
put on exempt list the Chiefs released him. News outlets all made Hunt's release the lead story and the fact he had
first been placed on exempt list got buried.
