I can sympathize.....well....sorta!! As a nurse, I have had the "pleasure" of assisting with staple placement in the emergency room and have had the "pleasure" of removing a few in my years!! Have had 4 folks in this summer with head wounds that all took staples...fast, easy, effective and NO xylocaine (heck, that stuff burns so much that most folks would just as soon do without!)....just make sure to keep the area clean!! If the area gets really red, warm and starts to weep fluid, you need to get back in!! Oh...and NO RUGBY til you get them out!! ;-) ;-)

lol friends a nurse taking them out saturday mornign then palying saturday right after with a scrum cap tho lol. yeah he didnt freeze it all only half so i felt to 2nd and third staple lol and its the side i sleep on so i wake of creaming when you roll over

My Son-in-law is a pro: rugby player, I have seen some injuries in my time, I love the game seen some good ones at Twickenham, in the past.

lkol it will stay on because if anyone grabs it its a high tackle and a penalty agasint them and besides iam a back so shouldnt get hurt to much all i do is get ball and run liek hell

most rugby players I know are big rugged tough MEN, the muscles on them are huge, and there is no mamby pamby, protective gear on them, ;-)

sounds like how we played football as a kid...we had our own little team when we was younguns...no pads, just liked to play...by the end of the game it'd just be one big brawl going on :lol: ...kids would go home with black eyes and busted lips and less teeth than they had when they got there...funny thing is we went back every weekend to do the same thing
