[QUOTE="eric, post: 39933, member: 7"] This story really loses credibility when the author says, paraphrasing:" Kerry wrote 3 endings to his film, and changed the original ending because test audiences didnt like seeing a VC shot in the back" And then the author stated: Kerry says to a buddy, "I'll see you at the convention in 35 yrs!!" Makes for a great story, just not a believable one. So these "Swiffee's" knew Kerry for 3 months, over 35 yrs ago, and now claim him unfit to be a president? Sorry, but it sounds like bitter jealousy to me. Who in here didnt do things 35 yrs ago that they wouldnt do today? I just find it hard to belive that Kerry's advisors would make his war service such a big part of his campaign without checking everything out. They knew the Bush people would attack everything he said and they surely had their ducks in a row before they released it. As for the "Swiffers" not getting any air time, they released their statement, and most people, me included, didnt find alot of relevance in something that happened in the middle of a war over 35 yrs ago! We are more concerned with what is happening nowadays with our country. I personally dont like where this war overseas is heading, I dont feel the president has a plan to end it anytime soon and I cant see voting for someone who's philosophy for the next few yrs is so much different than what I believe it should be.
