Month old calf - struggled from birth. Appeared to have a mild case of joint ill - just enough swelling to make you wonder if something were a little off. Got around ok - had enough money into him already so he either had to fish or cut bait. Today I see the skin on both knees has actually broken open - almost as if he'd been drug across the pavement on his knees, but he's actually acting quite a bit better and the swelling is down. Is that really joint ill? Maybe some weird kind of infection? But in BOTH knees? I'll try to get some pics.
