So, took some samples from a field, I may lease for a few months, extension agent got a positive result for nitrates. I was more concerned about prussic, but she says that test has to be done in the field. Anyway, we'll talk in the morning, sending the test on to OSU, and will discuss the field test. May get into crap being on the border, the land is in AR, so don't know how that'll play out. May just have to wait till after frost, but that kinda screws up the rest of the warm season grass that's left, so may or may not get it due to value recalculation. It joins me so its handy, but hay is cheaper than dead cattle, sometimes.
