John Deere Model 39 sickle mower

Does anyone have one ? Are they good mowers? I bought one at a auction yesterday for $20.00 lol It is all in tact could use another skid plate has couple minor welds nothing serious needs new blades grease up bar and paint should hopefully be fine. Any opinions on this thing ?

yea.. guys around here for some reason do not like sickle mowers at all.. they only want hay or disc bines. I like sickle mowers they are relatively low maint. and cheap to fix.
