I am trying a new water tank(tarter) it has an 11/2 inch diameter hole. I want to add a jobes mega valve, supplied witha 3/4 inch garden hose. But the question is I dont believe its clear on size that I need it has options from 3/4 to 1 1/4inch. Does that mean diameter of tailshaft, or supply line? or is that the length of the tailshaft? I usually use rubbermaid tanks and they have an adapter made for that tank which the bung hole is 2 inches.
So anyone that can clear this up , I would appreciate it. thanks

I use the jobe products also but the one you are using sounds a little different. The ones I use just have 3/4 npt threads sticking out and I convert to water hose.

When I do them I always punch a new hole and put it exactly where and how I want it. 3/4 on the jobe means I use like a 7/8 hole saw bit.

Does this look like what you are describing?

I have jobe float valves on everything including my house water storage. If I’m understanding your question right, the size is referring to diameter of inlet that you are connecting to. So if you have a 3/4” inlet you would get a 3/4” valve to fit it. I have a 3/4” megaflow sitting here if you want me to get measurements.

Ya I use one but it's not the megaflow. You just but the brass cross over from npt to water hose threads. Then I usually get a brass water hose spitter with valve so I can turn it off to work on or hook another hose in to or drain. Then the water hose just screws in to that.
