Just when you think you have seen everything, the original Dancing Outlaw of Boone County, WV:

Parts 2, 3, and 4 are here, here, and here, and one day when you've got some time to kill I do highly recommend you watch the whole thing.

Jesco, The devil himself! :devil2: :lol2:

Evidently, teeth are optional in WV.......you would think she would have slipped em in for the big interview. :lol2:

If I hadn't seen that this was shot in WV, I would have sworn that it was TN.
I knew it couldn't have been in Alabama, because they didn't have old tires holding the tin down on the trailer, and they only owned one Pit Bull. :D

Ya'll go easy on Jesco - he's had a hard life. Spent a lot of his youth huffin' paint and we all know that ain't good. He still does "special appearances" here in Southern WV from time to time. Last I heard of him, his health was failing somewhat.

I will never again complain about my neighbors.
well around here if you complain..they just turn up the heat. add a car here, or old freezer there. we are the only county in alabama that i know of, that tried to pass a no junk ordinance,, that was protested too the hilt, by every hill billy in the county.. you could'nt have got em more riled up, if you shot their best coon hound ;-)

Yeah, I think we all have those folks. I imagine some consider me to be one of them. :|
I know I dance a lot better when I drink. :drink:

I want to ask a question that has intrigued me for a long time. I mean no disrespect or anything. What do those people that live in those conditions do for a living? They seem to have nothing and seem to be happy.

Allow me.

I think that what you have here are generations of people who live on welfare. They don't have a lot so they don't need a lot. Unless you count "having a lot" as all the junk cars and busted appliances that go back two generations.

They do what they have to do just to get by and they are perfectly happy with that. Kinda like the guy who buys his wife underthings from the dollar store for Vanentines. And leave on the tags because he knows she'll be right proud.

Hey, that could be some of y'all.

just rearange your wording a little..they seem to "do nothing"and >are< happy. i guess when you are raised that way you move in the same direction......... need atleast one cousin that has electricity, and a bunch of extention cord..friend of mine quit here and went to work for the electric coop said you'd be suprized at the folks that run power off one meter

talking about holding a butcher knife too his wifes throat, for making them dam sloppy egg's. and the beer bottles hitting the signs "nice touch"... a true master of the art of hillbilly .

I thought this was a joke, a comedy show. Then I googled and,,,,,,,God, I love Wyoming.

So Wyoming is full of normal people? I fail to believe that. Out of the five people you have living up there, there must be one that's a little like Jesco. Every place has got 'em. Michigan has the Yoopers, California has the granola and Oklahoma has, well, Okies. We wont get into Florida.

Texas has cedar hackers. You can tell a cedar hacker by his missing digits, and teeth. Visit Leakey. That place looks pretty much like that video. We went there on our honeymoon and I have pictures to prove it! And don't think there isn't a little streak of WV that runs right through Glen Rose.

Not "everyplace"! Mn is full of the most normal people you can imagine ~ I know, I'm one of them! MM and I talk about mnmt behind the scenes ~ we're pretty sure he's from someplace crazy like Wisconsin and is just a pretender. He gets by on BossLady's stellar Scandahoovian/German lineage. :secret:

Anyhow, I'd give a lot to play guitar like the crazy guys buddy. People like that, given a few minutes and a tune, can jump into any song thats playing.
