Good question that I wish I could answer. I don't think my Jersey's calves weights would count because they are not pure Jersey like their mother. She is bred to a different "breed" of bull. I would guess, though, that it would be less than Holstein,Guernsey and Brown Swiss and many of the beef breeds. Maybe close/similar to Shorthorn?? :?
Well what do your calves average...cause I have one that is bred to a highland(60 # calves) and was wondering what the jerseys calved at for comparison.
