Not to say that you southern people don't have your problems (wild fires, tornados, etc.) but I've been so jealous of all your green pastures. Yesterday this is what I woke up to. Figured around 20" of heavy wet snow. My favorite season, mud, just became more interesting.

The last time we had snow like that was about 13 years ago in what is known as "The Blizzard of '93".

I had 16" here at the house. I all came down in about 6 hours.

Love your pics, I was in the same storm, we measured about 18" I love it tho....was really tired of the bare ground...and yep, I have been jealous of the pics showing that green green grass!!

:o  Nothing personal but I don't envey you at all. I am happy with out little burst of cold from time to time but on occasion I would love to see a few inches just to KILL the BUGS! Bundle up and STAY WARM! :drink: And Drink plenty of antifreeze ;-)

~ Boy, I thought we had it bad with snow.

All the rain yesterday melted ALL the snow and now we are in full blown MUD SEASON, up to my axles.

Hope you have lots of wood for your stove and lots of hot soup to keep you warm.

Thank you for the photos.

What are your cows doing while all the white stuff comes down ?

Gotta say that snow sure is purty.

as long as it's up there instead of here.
on the other hand i'd welcome it here just to get the moisture from it.

Great photos. That looks soooo COLD! That is the reason I will always live in the South. I would FREEZE to death and never go out of the house! Summer cannot come fast enough for me.

Thats too much for me. The buttercups are blooming, pear, peach and apple trees are budding out, willows already have leaves and the grass is beginning to grow here. I don't mean to rub it in but, I love the south. :)

Were riding out a blizzard at the moment too. Weve got close to 18" right now. It sure is a mess calving right now, cow are strung out everywhere, had to tube 5 calves this morning. Can't get the pickup out of the driveway, have to use the horses to check cows behind the place out in the pasture. Got a calf in the bathtub right now from a cow thats up here in the lot. fun fun fun. :D :cboy: :drink:

Have a question Carl. You have a calf in the bathtub? Did you fil with water or just use it to warm calf up? Lois
