an update lolol my brother went to the local jd dealer.an got another deal going that i know 0 about.an he says the salesmen will call an talk to me sometime wed.so now i dont even know what tractor he is looking at.

That sound about right. I paid 62k for the 5100m with a loader last year same set up as you are pricing plus added the third valve on the loader so I can run my skid steer implements like the grapple and auger on it. Love it everyday but the one I make the payment on!

well my brother ended up making a deal for a new 6105D CAB 4X4 setup for the fel.but not getting fel at this time.all thats left is to finalize the deal.

If it is not included you will wish later that you had gotten a self-leveling loader. I know I do.

For round bales I would rather not have the self leveling. All other areas and it is a big plus for me.
Many of the newer tractors have the option to turn self leveling on or off. Would be a neat option in my book.

not having a self leveling isnt bad to us as we are used to leveling our loads from the beginning.but i do have 1 major gripe.the dealer is only putting 20 gal in the tractor for delivery.an the fuel tank is 43 gal.so i let them know i thought they was being cheap.an they our regs are to fill the tractors half full.

Loading and unloading round bales is where I like the self leveler most. 22 rolls off a trailer and stacking in the barn goes much faster if you are not constantly having to level the spear. But to each his own.

With the self leveling I can not roll the bale back to slide the roll all the way against the frame. The loader wants the bale to always be parallel.
On the tractors with the option to turn the module off, that is what I do.
Scooping wet brewers grain to feed and self leveling or "return to dig" is a wonderful feature for me.
You are correct in saying to each his own. It all depends on personal preferences.
