Highgrit, you just don't get it. True, they could have held their meeting somewhere other than a resort. Or, they could have rented hotel rooms three miles down the road for $75/night rather than spending $275/night but you gotta think of the gas savings. These people are working hard for us and they need a break. Time to relax. To reflect. To study and be trained on how to better serve the public. Heck, last time I called them they were so busy yet they still found the time to work me into their schedule two days short of six months then another two months to fill out a piece of paper and collect their fee. I'm telling you, they are busy and they are short of help. What we need to do is hire some more of them. Maybe you and I could make the sacrifice and go work for them. From what I hear the training is pretty intense but I think we could handle it if we gave it our best.
Gotta hand it to Gary Black for canning them but I'm sure they will walk with a nice retirement package. I doubt his predecessor would have done this cause he was about as dirty as they come.
