Its Snowing In College Station Right Now

I remember driving back to CS after winter break in the early 80's in a good snowstorm. Doesn't happen very often. Be careful.

Yeeeeeeeeeeuuuup, been snowing for awhile. Real purdy and peaceful like. Last real snowstorm I was in was Silverton, Colorado, July 11, 2006. Riding my motorcycle, left Durango, it was 85 degrees and heavy rain. By the time I hit Coal Bank Pass it was 33 degrees and sleet, next came Molas Pass at 25 degrees and heavy snow. Sat on the moutain another hour before being able to get into Silverton cause of mud slides blocking the road.

Two days ago it was 70 degrees here, next week predicted to be 70 degrees.

I remember standing in formation headed for chow and it was ALWAYS either snowing or drizzling in College Station.

Yes, snow in College Station, TX in March. 1 - 3 inches are expected for us.

Well, how many wrecks did you see today? Lots of those good folks in CS had probably not driven in the snow before today. Although if it was like here, the roads stayed clear - not cold enough to turn to ice...

Don't need snow in B/CS to cause wrecks. People around here can't drive on wet pavement either.

When I was there a few months ago, all the construction sure made it tough to get around. The price of progress.

Last time I was Aggieland it took me half a day just to find the "C" and once I was inside I stayed lost the other half of the day. :cry2:
