Fall's Branch is a spring fed creek running through my place it stopped running in 1910, 2011 and today.
Spring's are still going water flow is not enough to maintain flow.

How many trees you got down this evening CB? It hit here about 5 o'clock from the N NE, and I mean it came down sideways--got nearly 2" by my gauge. LOTS of lightning. Looks like round 2 is building from the NW now.

At 720 PM CDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar was tracking a
strong thunderstorm 10 miles south of Devers... or 18 miles southeast
of Liberty... moving southeast at 25 mph.
Wind gusts up to 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Anahuac... Devers... High Island... Winnie... Stowell... Bolivar
Peninsula... Wallisville and Hankamer.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm... and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 15 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
