We are in drought mode again, all the benifical rain's of last winter and spring are gone.
Fall's Branch is a spring fed creek running through my place it stopped running in 1910, 2011 and today.
Spring's are still going water flow is not enough to maintain flow.
The four pond's are still maintaing level thank goodness.

I can't believe you guys are that dry CB. Been in LA. fishing and the weather has been squally. Been fishing in the gulf for almost 30 years and last night was the worst storm I have ever weathered. A few times I had my worries, heading home to check the cows.
Hope you all get some rain.

I hate to hear that. I thought a good rain would be coming our way, but I guess not.I pray it doesn't get as bad as 2011though. I wonder how it will effect the cattle prices?

We are in a bad way here too.
We are supposed to have a 60% chance of rain today. I sure would like to know where it is.

I heard a weather man state we need a foot of rain to get out of this condition, but doesn't foresee it coming. I'm praying for rain we don't need another drought, but then again who does.

Dont know how far behind we are. I dont even keep track anymote. The artiesan well on our place stopped flowing two months ago. It also stopped flowing in 2011.

After the 2007 drought here I said I would never say I wished it would quit raining. Im almost there this year. Today is one of the first in a long time with no rain at all. We are already over our yearly average of 44" .

None we didn't get one drop of rain it all made up south of us.
All we got was cloud's.

We have been the hole in the donut all year. I could see the rain a few days ago on the way to the farm. I came off the Hwy and there was water on the road untill I came over the hill to the farm and it was dry! My neighbor told me it rained " for about an hour " bug my rain gauges don't lie and when I scratched the dirt to plant some Tifton it was dry like a bone.....I feel your pain.

Been raining again this morning--got soaked in a steady downpour walking back from feeding calves and checking on the pond level a few minutes ago. No brag--just fact. Wish everybody could get some.
Kingfisher, we used to call that being under a hole in the sky when I lived out near San Angelo Tx. The old timers said it was never a problem till they built OC Fisher and Twin Buttes Reservoirs. That was before my time. I suspect both are still almost empty.

1/10" is more than we've gotten in 2 weeks.

CB, I've been thinking about putting out a roll of last years hay myself. Got plenty of grass, but even with the rain, it ain't worth much and it's tough for em. Just had too many straight days of really hot weather, tho it could have been much worse.

we put out 2 rolls of last years 4 by 6 hay 2wks ago an the cows have only ate maybe 1 bale.so that means they are still getting grass in the pastures.

BTW CB, when you get rain and I don't, you always tell me "Boy, you just ain't livin' right". :tiphat:

After an intense investigation it has been determined it is my neighbor that has been the cause of the current misery.
