Why if a cow has a calf and the calf dies then watch out for mastise (sp?) but if you wean a calf or say dry off a dairy cow whats the difference udder still full????
I've never seen the problem of a claf dying and the cow getting mastitis. I thhe logic is the volume is greater early in the lactation. That's the only thing that (sort of) makes sense to meDixieangus":2kttvgx5 said:Why if a cow has a calf and the calf dies then watch out for mastise (sp?) but if you wean a calf or say dry off a dairy cow whats the difference udder still full????
