The snow that is. Our area has gotten between 60-80" in the last week. Thats getting to be too much, even for lake effect land. For the record, the operator error here was dad. These are a few pictures of some of the 7 roofs I've helped shovel for people in our church the last few days. I'm getting too old to be on the working end of a shovel for that long.

Looks almost like here. Today was the first sunny day all February. Closing in on 300 inches for the season now.

It's been fun but I'm over it. Haha
I knew you'd understand. about 10 miles northeast of us is over 300" now. we are probably 50" behind that but getting close to caught up all in one week has me over it too.

We were at 64" for the month of Feb and it's snowed ever since. Plowed 20" last night because I thought it was done. Woke up this morning to another 4".

Burned over 150 gallons of diesel so far this month keeping all the farms opened up.

Not sure about there but it's been cold along with the heavy snow. Multiple nights at -15 to -20 and days barely in the single + digits.

My hat is off to y'all in those areas, we get 3 inches and things start shutting down here. The most snow I remember was winter of 1984-1985 I was 10 so don't remember the amount but I remember it drifted up over the top of the door, and huge piles of snow all over town for quite a while afterwards. I'm told winter of 1977-1978 was worse I was too young to remember that.
We've had more snow than usual here this winter, We currently have 6-7 inches of snow on top of mud from 4-5 inches of rain

We got about two inches this morning, I think the last was in late November. Super dry since then. I've had to water trees I planted last spring. It's been spitting snow all day on and off, but the snow from this morning is gone. Irrigation will not last the entire summer at this point.

We got about 6in. It will be melted by next week, kids told to stay home from school until next week....lol.

That's why we chose the center of the U.S.

My bones can't handle the cold so long anymore.

Little bit of every season. Gone before we get tired of it.

Wish you the best!

Living here I've learned whatever you venture out into the snow with you better have or know someone with something bigger to recover you.

I've got multiple 150+ hp tractors and an excavator. Sometimes you need all of them together.
I remember stories my dad told of a wet spring and the pick-up got stuck, then the dually dump truck trying to pull out the pick-up, then the tractor, and then the bulldozer. That was in the early 50's so I doubt anything was four wheel drive... but still, a stuck bulldozer?

I've had a couple woops moments this last week as well. No fun having to walk home to get recovery equipment.
I buried a snowmobile about a quarter mile out in hip deep snow with my daughter on the back in December. She just looked at me and said, I think I will wait here. :-D Pathetic how quick I started the huffing and puffing.

Yep. used the 8340 to pull out the TS110 and it almost wasnt enough. I would have been making a call after that. I guess I could have got out the mini to try to dig it out some but that would have been its own version of sketchy. I'm pulling out the 3pt blower tomorrow and the whole bale yard is gonna get opened up.

If I take the sled off a packed trail I strap my snowshoes to the tunnel. Never know when you maybe walking and snowshoes beat boots in 5 foot of snow anytime. Also then can be used to shovel.
If I was in the shop, I'd take a picture of the sled right now. Two pairs of snowshoes on the back. December's fool is February's sage. :-D
