What are you doing up? Have wondered this as I check who is on at various times through the night.

My excuse?
I'm at work ~ work 6p - 6 a. in a county jail.

It's only 11:40 here. I am thinking of all I have to do tomorrow but I have got a nasty cold and can't sleep. I know sleep is the best thing but I lay down and stuff up.:(
So basically I am sitting here feeling sorry for myself.

I have the times posted set to British time and Victoria said it's only 11.40 here, the time posted for me was 5.42am. I clock on in the morning at about 7am, just as most are going to bed. Then I come back at different times during the day when I have time.

I thought everyone got up at misc. times during the night and got on here cause they can;t sleep.

yall go ahead and type the night away.
I got a clear conscience and can sleep all night.
last night 9:30 to 12:30 and the dog barked at some varmit so we went out to check and then back to bed until 4:30

I think the older you get the less sleep you get. If i sleep 4 or 5 hours i have had a good night.

I thought it was b/c the suspense of the next post was too great to wait til morning.

Sometimes something has happened late in the evening that has me stirred up to where I can't go to sleep right away. Sometimes I wake up real early just thinking about stuff. Nothing bad, no problems just want to get things thought out.

I'm up because I'm an optimist. Every night I go to bed around 10:30 or 11:00, thinking that maybe I'll get a good night's sleep. Occasionally I do. But most nights, I wake up about 2:30 and mill around the house and watch TV and play on the internet until about 4:30 or 5:00. Then I go back to bed and get ready for work at 6:30. I've been doing it for so long now that its a habit and I run pretty well on about 5 hours sleep.

If I get 5 hours in, I'm good as well. Have been warned it will catch up with me. Definately the older I get, the less sleep I get.

I heard it start raining. I don't sleep much anyway. I enjoy the late hours or early morning hours cause it is peaceful.

Angie, when you get chance, check to see which cell MistyMorning is in for me. She was supposed to be in the psych ward not county lock up.

Past week I've had to leave the tv on low so as I can sleep.
Guess I miss the hospital noise

Flaboy ~ they had to put Misty in segregation. Apparently some guy on CT harassed her so much she is no longer considered stable enogh to have in with the others. Spends her day rocking back and forth mumbling to self. Careful, she will be out soon, is considered armed and dangerous. :o

No, no, the rocking and mumbling is her normal mode of operation. Don't you have to have a brain to be armed?
