Pretty insensitive, and downright rude. If you can't be thoughtful to the people who are from Australia on these boards, my advice to you is just shut your mouth and stay off these forums!!

was not being rude to anyone, did not mention anyone in particular, sorry if a little insensative, but each to his own, we can't like everything the same as it would make a dull place. no one has run anyone down. just different oppinions. the croc joke came from Australia as it happens. and I suppose we have a different sence of humour. It doesn't make us any less sensative, just different.

It never seems to take long for people to come out with jokes about any subject, does it? I was kinda suprised at how much Steve Irwin was really loved. I know people that were genuinely upset at his death. Of course, it is a shame, especially since he was a conservationist and so young, and had a wife and two kids and all. But I am willing to bet that if he had to choose a way to go, he'd probably have chosen something like this. At least he was doing what he loved.

Today in Biology the teacher was talking about this. He said the reason so many people liked Irwin is because he took science and brought it to the home, in a way that people actually wanted to learn more, which not many people can do.

Hey, my grandson loved his show...that's good enough for me.

However, Chris is simply pointing out how people different people view what happened...I really don't think she's condoning it.

thank you Alice my point exactly. the guy that sent me the croc pic, said in the e-mail ...'if Steve could see this he would probably have laughed as he liked a joke'.

You know you guys are probably right, I did go a little overboard. I read somewhere yesterday that he actually said if he died on the job, he would want it filmed, so I guess he got what he wanted. I do feel sorry for his family, especially his kids, its tough losing someone when you are just a small child.

Sorry Chrisy.

appology accepted....I think it is sad too, to loose your Daddy at any age, my heart goes out to the family.

None of us know when we go out if we're going to make it back home safe and sound....We've had too many accidents around here to take anything for granted..
