I sure hope he's getting the rain. I keep looking at the radar, and thinking this system is moving way to slow. But, I know the folks west of me need it much more than I do. I just wan't them to save a bit for me. I've shuffled cattle around alot more than normal this year, and I know I'm lucky to be able to do that. I only have 32 head to worry about, and fed 8 rounds of hay back in June/July. We had some rains in August that saved us. Perked the grass up. I just put the first bale out last weekend, since last week of July. We got a lame second cutting of hay 2 weeks ago, but I know thats better than alot of folks. I'm waiting for a respectable rain, then turn the cows out on the hay meadow and hope it gets them through a couple more months. Save the hay :bang:

No, C7, I'm not  . My dad just moved to a new place 7 miles West of me and he got 2 inches last night. Walked in to Church this morning and he was all smiles, said "How about that rain son?". I says "What rain pop?" he said -
