Big Thicket East Texas
This is the view off the old place's front porch.
This in East Texas looking east over into La.
Now I have poor photo skill's you can see the leading edge of Isaac it look's to be a gray line drawn across the horizon.
That is all Isaac above the tree's that cloud wall is over 300 miles to the east, impressive storm.

wow, that must be way East Texas--crystal clear here horizon to horizon.

Good pics for that time of morning--it's always hard for me to take a photo looking east in the morning--the reflected light from upper atmosphere screws with auto focus sensor.
Somebody will get some rain--I could use some myself but not a deluge.

I saw that New Orleans is taking a pounding this morning. According to the weather guys, as strong as it is, it is going to travel north and affect quite a few states.

Your pics are sobering to me because I know what it is like to experience a hurricane.

Send it this way. Told my sis to quit bragging about all the rain she is getting.

Be very careful what you wish for as this is a huge rain maker being it is so slow moving. This is the type storm that just stall's out and set's down on somebody. Remember most life is lost due to water.
This could turn into a Claudette type storm. Until you have seen over 40 inches in 24 hour's you can't imagine the destruction.

They're talking as high as 20-22" here.
Iwas already over 20 for the month of August.
I'm guessing we'll be more in the low teens.
Sure is windy though. One tree down that i can see, lota of small branches.

CB that looks nice and clear and peaceful, hope it stays that way for you with just a drizzle of rain.
All those in Louisiana way stay safe hope it filters out before it gets to bad. Seen the destruction Katrina done don't need that again that's for sure.
