I forgot to mention that they were wormed with ivermectin 5mg per mL two week ago.

I agre with probably ringworm. Ringworm isn;t a worm so worming won't do anything for it.

Definately ringworm, treat with athletes' foot spray or better still with a 1/8 solution of lime sulphar. One treatment is usualy sufficient, but repeat after a week to be sure. The fungus will be dead, but it will take time for the hair to regrow.

Hard to doctor ringworm around the eyes...it will go away all by itself but the animal won't win any beauty contest....hope that the gals arn't picky. DMc

Well, my eyes aren’t what they use to be, but what I’m seeing is the beginning of warts.
So as usual I’m gona go against the grain by saying “it looks like warts” to me.

If they are raised, they are warts.
And as they do not appear to be circular, it is not ringworm.

I know in my area warts are a real problem this year. Don’t know why, do you?

I agree with majority, and it definitely looks like ringworm. I see the pic was taken indoors (?) sunshine will help clear it up. This time of year, I usually pick up a few pounds of a vitamin mix, to mix in with their minerals. This has worked for me to help the situation.... without doing any of the topical treatments. Just cuz I hate to run cattle thru this time of year, usually either ice or mud and neither one is a joy to work thru. Good luck. BTW, this will spread.

I picked up a red angus bull about two weeks ago. He is about 19 months old. Over the last week and a half he has developed these white spots around his eyes. To me it loks as if he is rubbing them on something. I would like your opion on this. Is this something to get the vet out?

Well Ringworm is Contagouis so i would not turn him out with the herd, they will get it .

I would like to thanks all of you for your comments. the young bull is outside all the time. I have feed bunks on one third of the barn, so the cattle can come and go to the corral.

Again thanks for the help
