Nice picture Frenchie.
Looks like you grow plenty of grass in NW Manitoba. How long is your grazing season?

100 day growing season.6 month grazing season.

Got to run.

frenchie

looking at the pics I figure you got a little fence repair to do!

Never ends you know.

I also noticed some horns - nice to see.

Frenchie, the stout blond bull calf I assume goes with the blond cow. What breed is his sire. He is nice. A little crooked legged but thick and deep. I like him.

Nice bunch Frenchie, Multiple colored herd here equals multiple dollars where I sell. Somedays they like one color by next month it has changed.

Excellent group of commerical cattle. What type of herd sires are you running in with your herd? Are the Blondes or Herefords? Once again, nice looking group of cattle and take care. :cboy:

That bunch is mainly bred to Gelbvieh/ Hereford or Angus sires.

the cow on the left looks like one heck of a mama, and the other one jsut looks young and productive to me. NO complaints about those moms

Jake ..went through my records this morning, Old girl is 15 and had 13 consecutive bull calves. ...I keep hoping for a heifer calf

Horned cow is 4

Oh btw the old girl has an older sister.. Calved this morning.

Nice cows, they in no way that I can see resemble the Beefalo cow in the other string, at least not to me. The older cow is a better cow, I highly doubt is the younger cow will last anywhere near as long.

we have that issue with our best cows, the #9 cow that I posted the picture of, the #5 red cow, and basicly any of the really good ones never have heifers... makes it hard to duplicate your best genetics.

How would you know what a Beefalo Cow looks like, what with you sitting on your duff all day in the MARC office.
