In all seriousness, I absolutely love where I live and am forever telling people to suck it up when they complain about the cold in the winter and the warm in the summer because I love all four seasons. But this winter has been tough. We are used to snow, and lots of it,but that snow combined with Bez type cold has been tough for us. We just got our fourth snow even that gave us over 36" in 24 hours. My guess is that we must be close to 20 feet of snow so far this year. This one was an especially dense, heavy snow and was tough to move because our banks were so frozen in and stiff. Thought I would try to take some decent pics of the cleanout. I did neglect to get pics of the 9 foot snowblower on the back of the Ford. Thank goodness for it though.
D17 at work!
Red Pine Stand. Nothing grabs and holds that lake-effect snow better.
This side hill is our best maple stand. Only a couple months till tapping time.
Brothers mutt. Needs some work but a beautiful girl.
Just chillaxing.
Yes, I finally got a rear bale spear. Remind my why I waited so long again?
OOPS! Might have slipped into a bank. :lol2:
This is all brand new accumulation. Was all packed before last night.
Best bull calf of the year.
Barnyard
Hard to tell, but they cant get both lanes open at the end of this because of the drifting.
