Is anybody out there hearing any turkeys?

Boy it has been very quite here. Season opened last weekend and I have been every morning but one and have only set down on one gobbling bird. Did get him to come but could not get a good enough look at him to be sure he was legal. Have been four mornings without hearing any. Last 2 years I don't think I went a single morning without hearing turkeys. We have plenty they are just not gobbling. I was just wondering if it was this way everywhere. I'm in southeast Mississippi.

Seen tons as I drive around but haven't heard the first gobble yet this year. Seems they get quieter every year

Hook y'all are deep into the season down there aren't you, they should be getting after it. Did you get any rain?

Strutting here but they are pretty quiet. But we had snow this week so maybe they dont think its spring yet.

They were strutting and gobbling like crazy before this last cold/snow crap hit. Today I watched some toms hanging around with a flock of girls and they would about do a half strut but not gobble
