Irrigation reels

I have around 25 acres of bottom ground that I am looking to irrigate cover crops on. I am interested in a one of those wind up reels that will do 1/8th of a mile set. Any thoughts?

I have a little one. It is 500 foot with 2 inch pipe. I was round some people who had the quarter mile one with 4 inch pipe. They work just fine. Like anything there is a bit of a learning curve to operating them.

All I can say is that I always wanted an irrigation reel for the Bermuda hay field. It would have been great. Now, it is getting late in the game for me to put one in with how I have cut my herd back. It was always about my biggest wishes that I never got.
