Yep and OSU doesn't even list a Irish black breed unless I couldn't find it

they sure don,t looklike the dexters i have seen in Canada.But nowhere could I find a mature weight on them some bulls with 1300 lb yearling wts though

I seem to remember an article i read about this breed,i think they may have been a strain of irish bred angus that was isolated for a longtime..then again maybe i don,t know sh!t either.

and they also come in red

Definitely not Dexters

I raise Dexters, bulls at three years of age generally weigh out at 1000# give or take.
Dexter/Angus cross, would make more sense to me since the Angus are black or red and so are Dexers (along with dun). It is a cross alot of people use. Looks like these people just started their own breed.

The website was fairly self-explanatory. They are obviously the best cattle there ever was, and have been inbred for over 30 years. They are just like Irish Reds,.....well,.....except they're black.
