I pull up to the job this morning for a builder. Pressure wash the entire exterior of house.
I start on one side and the next door neighbor pops his head out and asks what im doing and what im spraying. I tell him preasure washing, and spraying chlorine at 4% rate.
He goes ballistic and tells me im killing him, his plants and every Person hes ever known and i must stop.
Yeah right. I explain to him that after breathing this stuff in for the last 20 yrs im still alive and his plants and relatives will all be just fine. So he goes inside.
5 minutes later he hollers at me to stop, tells me hes calling the cops, and
WALKS OVER TO MY EQUIPMENT AND SHUTS IT OFF!
Now im peeved and i proceed to tell him that if he touches my equipment again hell need an ambulance too. Then he tells me the FD is on its way to speak to me as well.
So, they get there and tell the guy im 100% legal, all is safe, etc.
They leave and crazy f er goes back in. Them cops get there. The dude gets an attitude with the cops and gets his azz arrested for interfering with a contracted job ( a chargeable offense).
As he is led away he says hes going to sue me.
This is a good time for me to mention the homeowner whose house i was working on is a trial lawyer. A good looking one at that. She tells me that if anything comes of it she will represent me no charge and file countersuit against the neighbor for wasting my time and hers.
Builder, cops, homeowner all asked me why i didnt clobber the guy. Cop looked at me and i said, you guys are here so my hands are in my pockets. Safest place for em and for the crazy guy. Cop laughed, took my card and now i have to do some work for him next week too  overall id say it was a great day. But i sure was tempted to rearrange the dudes face.

If interfering with a contracted job is an offense in your state then you probably could have clobbered him as in most states you can do what you need to to stop a criminal act.
Doesn't it suck when you find out you missed your chance? :D

well look at it this way his throwing a hissy fitt an calling the cops just made you some more money.sounds like person your working for has trouble with them anyway.

Well, sounds like you did right. You also know where he lives and you know his name. With these two things you could really ruin his life if you wanted. Remember, revenge is best served cold. BTW - doesn't chlorine cause cancer and birth defects in California? If it doesn't it should since everything else does.

Only Jogee can come up with this truth. And it's fact too. :D

Yes it does, but it shouldn't in Florida.

If it doesn't it should since everything else does.
NOT TRUE!
Here's a small list of things proven to be free of cancer causing chemicals in the great state of California:
1. Weed
2. Gay Sex
3. Weed
4. anything labeled "organic" or even mentioning "sustainability" on the label
5. Weed
6. anything and everything powered by alternative energy-with the exception of animal powered methane gas as THAT involved animal enslavement and that is a NO-NO
7. Weed.
I could continue but that's the bulk of it...
everything else here causes cancer...

Oh, I haven't given it much thought but just off the cuff I think the secret service frowns on irate citizens who write threatening and intimidating letters to officials of high standing in the government and am pretty sure they still investigate each and every case - vigilantly. Of course, I'm sure no one would ever believe this nice friendly even keeled fella would ever write such a letter. So I guess 10 foot of wire and some steel wool and he enable him to become the flame he it sounds like he wants to be. Then there is of course there's .... sorry, I'm highjacking.

:lol2: :lol2: I stand corrected yet again.

Maybe the weed is why they have such a different outlook on life. At least the way I view life anyway. Sure glad you didn't get into any
trouble Hook, you never know how it's going to turn out when the law gets involved.

You gotta quit putting ideas in my head. You know te potus was just here in fairy tale land and that right there could come in very handy for this certain crazy californicator

Hypothetically speaking of course. Of course, if he were to be jailed and it somehow became known unmongst the inmates that he was a molester .... um ... he might be happy to get shipped to Gitmo with the other terrorists.

I heard an interesting story recently (and know it to be true): An inmate in State custody sent a letter to the prosecutor's office, asking a favor. He'd been convicted of statutory rape (a too-young GF, I think), and some other sex crime, although neither were heinous. But, in prison, he was worried about his criminal history. So, his letter asked that the prosecutor please get a copy of his history, and make some notations to change those sex crimes to theft or burglary or something like that, and forward that off to his holding facility, because it would make serving his time much easier! :???:
