about 2 months back i wrote a post on here saying i was halter breaking a new calf in the morning. Well this is the one. She jumped the fence and ended up in the road, ran 1/2 mile and cut into a swamp. Spent 3 hours gettin her out of there and back home. Next day halterbroke without a problem. She has showed 3 times ad at 2 big shows. Oklahoma city won her class and Tulsa won her class. She is a April 3. out of one of the best simmy blood lines in the state. I had her head to high here cause she wouldn't stand still(making her look thicker necked but) She is about the cleanest fronted heifer i have seen in a while around here. The judge at Oklahoma City asked me what I enjoyed about showing these young heifers. MY RESPONSE, "It's always fun to have a challenge(little did he know what we went through 2 weeks earlier in the creek)" Our main goal at this point in the game is to get her FAT. Simple task I think. She is the most agressive eater of a 14 head show string. THERE SHE IS.

I like her, be careful as to how FAT you get her though. IMO there's a difference between a well coniditioned heifer and a overly fat one. And if you've been at even one show you can tell the difference.

She shows as an Influence Simmental at all of the bigger shows. most shows around here require at least 3 calves to consist of a breed so she shows in the Simmental Class at smaller shows. She has Hamburger (H&H) Simmental on both side. Her registration number, 2441077. ON her Mommas side she goes back to New Design and on her Daddys side goes back to Dixie Erica.
i ont know if you have heard of the Hamburgers from Oklahoma but they have an Awesome breeding program. She didn't come from them but her momma and daddy did.
