Inactive Calf

I have a calf that is very inactive, slow moving, and isn't moving around much but still eats. He is a young holstien calf around one and a half months of age. He doesn't have worms or scours, what could be wrong? and how to fix it?

Was he born larger than "normal"? Big holstein bull calves always seem to be the hardest to raise as well as dumbest and laziest. Just my observations over the years. I'm sure there are exceptions.

How much does he eat and what are you feeding him?

Could be Selenium deficiency (White Muscle Disease). Easily taken care of with a shot of BoSe (vet prescribed).

This describes the way my son was as a teenager. He's turned out pretty well.

Are there any signs of illness like high temperature, difficulty breathing, etc? What is he eating/drinking? How hot is it where you are? Does he have shade? Is this a recent development, or has he always been this way?
