Yes they are very nice, I would like to know a bit more about them too. That pasture looks nice too, is that a perennial rye?

The 405 bull and 412 heifer are both sired by Sydgen Wake up Call. He is a maternal brother to CC&7. I saw wake in TN along with approx 2 dozen progeny. Really liked the look of them. I think he is a heifer safe bull based on what few I had this fall.

It is rye grass not rye. That is planted in plowed ground not overseeded. I will try and edit the orginal post to include sire names..but here is the list.

Thanks for all the kind words. While they are as good a set of heifers as we have ever had, they are just heifers to some programs.. I have a few of both the wake up call and Prime minister heifers and they all look the same as the two calves I posted. Probably my favorites are the 405 bull and the 409 heifer, but all of the ones I pictured will work for us.

Kinda the neat thing about the 427 heifer is she is sired by a home raised bull who happens to be a maternal brother to the 405 bull pictured above..
