I talked to ABS the other day and they said that they are having difficulties collecting semen from him. My sales rep told me they have no inventory on him at the collection facility, only whats in the field. My question is this: Is he one of those bulls that's going to be worth a couple hundred bucks a straw once/if he's done producing? I bought some straws, just kinda wondering if I should save them for a little while.

I would say yes.......extremely popular and for good reason. I have 2 MF daughters and they are making excellent momma cows with their 2nd calves growing off great.

I have had great luck with my in focus bulls, I just sold my last one because I have to many heifers out of them, some of them have started calving and they are doing great to.

Only if you never plan to use them, otherwise they're worth as much today as they'll ever be worth. They'll give you a calf. ;-)

I'm inclined to say no.
Everyone who wanted to use him has had ample opertunity for a loooong time.
He's been such a crowd pleaser for so long that just about every rep out there keeps ten units of him in their tank just for the occasional backyard heifer so there's still a bunch of product available.
He and his pedigree are NOT outcross to much of anything so he's not a must have for mating programs.
He has so many sons on collection that's it's to simple to just pick from the best of them.

Another bull that comes to mind is In Focus's grandsire, SAF Fame. Despite having a set of epd's that have stood up to the test of time fairly well you can buy him for $6 per straw and that's retail price.
