It was a set up, can you see anyone shake the hand of someone (no matter who it is) who has just crushed his expensive car, and not rant and rave about it.
Here if you park on the yellow lines you get a parking ticket and it is a hefty fine, and goes up the longer you take to pay it, and maybe ending in a prison sentance. Park on the Red Line area and it is a tow away straight away and an even bigger fine. If you don't have tax or insurance on the car it is impounded and crushed straight away and there is a hefty fine.
