I have been reading your online blog and absolutely love it! I was also wondering what courses you are taking/have taken/will take for your degree. Also, what are your favorite books you have read for school?

I was also wondering what courses you are taking/have taken/will take for your degree.

Well, lets see. I had to take some introductory courses before I got into things: Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Math and English. (IF I was in the pre-vet program, I'd have to take Physics as well). Then it's Animal Nutrition, Intro to Animal Agriculture, Intro to plant science, Forages, intro to soils, linear algebra (blech!), and Animal Behaviour, and an Agriculture Economics course.

That's what I took. What I am taking is Range Principles and Practices, Small Business management, and Animal Physiology. In my next term, coming up pretty quick, i'm taking Reproductive Animal Physiology and Metabolic Physiology, and a Music course (for a diversion from all this science study).

In the coming years, I'm looking into taking an Applied Beef Science course, another rangeland management course, ruminant and swine nutrition, stats, applied dairy science, and/or applied wildlife managment, animal improvement, and a couple others that I may come across.

Also, what are your favorite books you have read for school?

The best books so far are Forages: An Intro to Grassland Agriculture by Barnes et. al, and Small Business Management by Longenecker and an Introduction to Soils book; and those three all qualify as favorite books for all the courses I've taken so far.

I took out the 5th edition from the library, but the newest (and best edition) is 7th.
