I think you're correct. I always called it least hops clover, but I think it's the same thing. There's another species that looks very similar, but I can't recall the name offhand.
 
Yes it is good and cattle like it but it does not produce very well. It drys out early and then all you you have is stem. Soil test and fertilize correctly and it will vanish.
 
K. It's rented land. I fert when i drill wheat or the greengrazer 5. Prob take 5 grand of fert to get that land where it needs to be
