well its getting close to some beefmaster sales.so i went an bought 1 6ft gate 2 12ft gates an 3 16ft gates.along with 25 6ft t posts an 10ft feed trough an a round bale feeder.an had them delivered this morning.all told just $700 spent on supplies this morning.

bigbull, We picked up a buttload of tube steel a few years back. My Uncle borrowed my G/N and asked if I needed anything on the way back. I said, "Yessir. Stop off at the steel yard in Fort Worth. I'll call in an order and put it on my debit card." Six months later the prices had doubled. I haven't priced that stuff lately. Scared to do so. So glad I happened to buy before all the steel started going to China.

I have been building my gates out of 2 inch tube steel and welding cow panel to them. It works really well.

what scared me was when i got a price for med duty gate for $130.id bout fell over right there.so i got a 6ft light duty gate.an its a heavy sucker.

an that has made the junk iron prices go skyhigh.wich is a goodthing.the junkyards crush an sale cars fast.after theyve stripped the usable parts from them.
