Last night I watched "Men In Trees" for the first time,(and probably the last).

I was wondering if its just me or does this show, bear alot of similarities to "Northern Exposure", (possibly my all time favorite show).

1. based in Alaska
2. one of the characters is a radio dj.
3. two more are a bartender and his wife.
4. instead of a dr. they have a writer as the main character.

Never really watched Northern Exposure, but the few times I did I would say it is similiar.

Why you not watching it anymore? Great show. It is probably my third favorite show behind, Greys Anatomy and Desperate Housewives :) I should say, night time shows, hard to beat Oprah and Dr. Phil in the daytime slots ;-)

Dang Donald, You and my Wife got lot's in common... You sure you're Male? Maybe we should be on Wife Swap.

Pretty close to what I was thinking. To answer your question, Mr. Clean, it didn't trip my trigger. Can't say that I ever watched that anatomy show or that soap opera about the housewives. I wouldn't waste my time, no matter how bored I was, watching Dr. Phill or Oprah.

There are 4 ESPN channels that I can get. Is there a reason for all those other channels?

I can only watch so much poker, an then I gotta watch somethin else. ;-)

I don't really understand watching someone else play poker, either. I'm easily amused, I guess, but if the tv is on it's probably SportsCenter. Or the old tractors on RFDTV.

I usually watch Sportscenter while having my coffee in the am. That way whatever happened the night before will be covered.

All the other networks have started with re-runs already and they are'nt even halfway thru the seaon.

I watch the History channel and Discovery quite a bit.

I also read alot, but it's gettin harder to find books with lots of pictures.
