My younger daughter who is 36 told my wife a few weeks ago that she was taking a couple weeks leave from work and found some cheap flights to the US, probably Malaysian Airlines, she had a girlfriend who had moved to Las Vagus (however you spell it) and was going to visit her for 10 days.
On return my wife picks her up from the airport and she tells her that she might be getting married to an American guy. It stunned us a bit as we had no idea of her plans, anyhow the next day she comes down to Pam's to pick up her parrots and she tells Pam she has not been entirely honest as she had already got married while she was over there. Apparently they have been communicating for a while and skyping and they went ahead with it. We get to meet him at Xmas as he is moving out here to live at least initially. It seems a bit surreal still as I have not seen them together but I am sure she knows what she is doing. She has always been able to communicate with people by letter and her best friends are some that she had as penfriends from a little girl.
I guess I'll have to trade the Mahindra to one of your big V8's now so what do you recommend? Also I no longer have a farm, I have a ranch now. What else do I have to change? Oh yeh my excavator has to be called a trackhoe now doesn't it.
All jokes aside we are very much looking forward to meeting Danes at Xmas and he is very welcome to the family.

I'm glad you have faith in your daughter that she could pick the right man, though I'm sure you'd agree with me that a little more 'getting to know' could be in order

As for what the equipment is called, well, it could work both ways.. tell him that down under you only can use left handed hammers and crescent wrenches, nails need the opposite spiral, and the toilet water flows the other way.. Start off subtle and you can have a blast!

What kind of saddles do you folks ride?
He might need to bring his own in order to have a saddle to rope off of.
