I have just so many questions

Years back when I was archery hunting I read about a couple of dumbazzes in Oregon that got drunk in hunting camp and decided they could do "a William Tell" using a beer can. The idiot that put a can on his head caught an arrow in his eye.

saw a deal where kids were shooting arrows straight in the air see who could shoot it the highest and one of them caught it in the shoulder

Worked in an archery shop on the side teaching traditional shooting for a few years and bow hunters safety course.
There was one or two in every class that would make you wonder how they survived to adulthood.
Hundred years ago there was no doubt in my mind natural selection would have taken them out of the gene pool.
The only thing that has saved them is medical advancement.

I used to do this as a kid with my recurve bow. Then I bought a compound bow and did it jus ONCE. I know what a deer in the headlights feels like now. Was scared to death and was more than happy to take the whipping after the arrow lodged in the roof of the house.
