Happy new year!
The American Angus Association invites you to watch its first-ever nationally televised program, which will air Monday, Jan. 4 at 9 p.m. EST, on RFD-TV. Titled "I Am Angus," the one-hour documentary features the following:
* A historical segment on Dwight D. Eisenhower and his Gettysburg-based Angus farm
* A segment produced in 1949 by the late Lloyd Miller and narrated by radio great Paul Harvey.
* A segment about the history of the National Western Stock Show with Dr. Tom Noel, historian for the University of Colorado
* A segment on the Bouthillette family of Rhode Island who produce locally raised Angus beef for restaurants in Providence. To watch this segment, click here:

* A segment on the Beller family of Lindsay, Nebraska, who've been feeding cattle for more than 50 years.
* A segment on the Belton family of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, who use heavy horses in the deep snow to feed their Angus cattle.
* A segment on the DeCicco family of New York City who have a successful, family-owned grocery chain.
* A segment on the Sandberg family of Roseburg, Oregon, who've worked to protect and enhance habitat for the once-endangered Columbia Whitetail Deer.
