Why can't those that preach tolerance, tolerate me and my views?????? Under their own beliefs I have to be accepted and tolerated......why am I, and those like me, not accepted or tolerated by the liberal left? :roll:

You just have to use logic. For instance the liberal left is okay with you riding in the back of a pick-up truck. That is legal if you are over 14 years old. But if you get inside the cab and don't put on a seat belt, you will get fined $200. (I've paid a fine 4 times now)

Welcome to my world...I feel your pain...and catch it frequently from those on your side of the aisle.

Personally, I find it possible, among my conservative acquaintences, to be able to have a discussion, even a lively discussion, and still remain friends. It has to do with our respecting each other's opinions, even tho we may disagree. We don't find it necessary to belittle, insult, berate, name call or shout down each other simply because we do not share the same opinion.

BTW, my husband, Van, is a conservative. ;-)

I met Van in person and really liked the dude. Had some discussion eye to eye.

Van has posted from time and time and he and I have pm'd. Trust me, he is a good guy.

I haven't met Alice but it was never a secret she and Van were married.

Frankie, you have hit the nail on the head with the last part of your post and I am in agreement. On the first part you may have missed the point by a mile (maybe I am misunderstanding you). The liberal left says that we must be tolerant of others (lifestyles and beliefs) but if you are not tolerant i.e. verbally disagree with those they want toleration of, especially out loud where others can hear, then you are not tolerated by the so called tolerant folks. Smacks of blatant hypocrisy. Especially with the homosexual community and their supporters. I just recently came through San Francisco on a bizness trip. I was verbally abused by a lefty because I said that homosexuality was disgusting. My opinion and I do not tolerate homosexuals. I walk away from them or ignore them. Not good enough I guess. I suppose this tolerant lefty just couldn't tolerate me.......laughable :roll:

Why did you feell it necessary to judge the homosexual lifestyle? IMO, it's none of your business how other adults choose to live. YOU were intolerant and expressed it. Why would you expect others to tolerate that?

Walt heres a real question for you. Do you ever look at these people that condon this stuff and wonder what their children grew up being? Or just why they are so wiling to compromise when it comes to morals. One thing for sure can see that they have no alegiance with GOD or BIBLICAL BELIEFS.

Hoss they can say anything they want and its not questioned. WE can address our beliefs and its called hate crimes. One can see very easily why any discussion of cab or angus is called bashing. Some people lean way to far to the left i mean extreme left. :roll:

On the other hand we have Chelsie Clinton, daughter of those immoral Democrats. She's graduated from two universities, never been arrested, has a very good job on Wall Street, supports herself, and has a straight boy friend, may even be engaged by now. Sort of shoots the legs out from under your argument, doesn't it? :lol:
