Between Samaritan's Purse and Cajun Navy I think it will be well used.... They are doing some coordinating but those 2 groups have enough clout and pull to be able to do things the way they should. Also Mercury One is adding in to some of their workings and helping get it done.
@kenny thomas , I hope that your nephews managed to find some place that could use what was "turned away"....
Our local stockyard is also asking for donations or an animal to be sold and proceeds donated... plus a couple of FFA groups up here are collecting donations.

FEMA is federal and only distributes federal funds which is largely our tax money going in. Depending on the agency taking the money would determine the amount taken for administrative fees. A high percentage of federal money that is distributed to groups and organizations is used by those organizations for administrative fees.
