We all talk about weather and here is today's example here.
High of 93. 100% humidity early but lowest was 60%. Enough to make an old man sweat.
I know many places are hotter and some of you south of me probably get even more humidity but this is enough for me. Makes the cows hunt the shade.

Been outside about all day and probably drank 2 gallon of water. If it can happen it has this year. I have worked on equipment all day. I am ready for some cooler weather.

One job was putting a starter and Delphi injection pump/injectors on a 4630 tractor. Those Delphi pumps are no fun to time back as I finally got it right.

I am no fan either. It is miserable. Hay is dry but not really because it is so humid it never truly dries out. Don't know how the ones south of here survive. I will take cold any day.

It was especially bad yesterday. But for the most part, August has been fairly cool here this year.

One of the nice things about here. No humidity. Might get up to 50% during the night but is below 20% during the day. Just looked at the 10 day forecast. Daytime humidity is in the teens. One day it is 11%. The down side of that is we sure hope a fire doesn't start.

That’s normal here with triple digit temperature.

Just now starting to get rust removed from my hand tools after they were used daily and otherwise stored inside a shop for a way over decade in East Texas or S. Louisiana.
I had almost forgotten that a handsaw is supposed to be smooth and shiny and that you should be able to read the size on wrenches and sockets.

Amazing how much difference 200 miles can make.

When the old harness, boots and other old leather goods grow a coating of blue fuzzy mold in the tobacco barn, it is humid. It doesn't happen every year but it did this summer

I guess we just don't know any better. I don't see how anyone can deal with freezing temperatures and snow on the ground for weeks or months.

Google Hunger stone’s and read about them. Extreme heat, humidity might be around for quite a while in years to come.

Sounds like those people that holler it’s hot every August.
Has been every year since I was born, some hotter than others.
I predict January to be cold this year.

I walk around like a toddler with a wet diaper most of the time.
I’ve had a case of the soggy drawers today too. Itchy butt crack to boot. Had to stuff a shop rag down there today.

It’s like trying to crawl in a bowl of broth. I shouldn’t know what that’s like, but momma said I have a vivid imagination.

I hear that every year too. I’m old enough to remember summer 1980. I had a T-shirt that said “I survived the summer of 1980”.
This is a nothing burger compared to 1980 and 1988.
