Looking at finding what all grasses I have in my pastures is there a way to test it or is the only way to look at it and decide. I know there is a lot of Baha’i but I can’t make heads or tails out of the other “southwest Louisiana” I could assume all day I’d like to know for sure what I’m growing and grazing

Experience

Many grasses will be very difficult to identify, even with the many good apps and website's until they put on seed heads. But after a few years of observation you will become more and more competent with identifying younger and younger grass.

Put in a call to your local agriculture extension agent. Maybe he or she can come by the farm and help you ID your grasses.

Check out an app called plantnet. It's pretty good.
Take a photo of the plant, submit it and it gives you the name

I'll try that one.. I tried one called PlantSnap too.. never did get much use
