How to make a halter?

I can't find a halter small enough to fit this latest calf. I know that there are rope halters that I can make, but I can't find any directions. when I look on line, I find lots of halters to buy, and even some halters for people to wear.... and, of course, the obligatory halters for odd things, but no directions. Does anyone have a site they can send us with directions for making a rope halter?

A simple, store-bought rope halter can be adjusted pretty small. the only part that dosen't adjust is the front of the noseband and you can have it wrap all the way around with basically no back of the nose band and the halter still works well. If the rope halter is still to big that way I have put it on upside down, so the nose front is actually used for the piece that goes behind the ears. Used this way it will fit a 30 to 55 pound calf.

Thank you, Dunmovin'... I don't know what you told the puter to get it to give you this page, but nothing I was ordering came up as anything much more than a piece of fabric the size of a bra, or where to buy a real flashy HORSE halter, neither of which helped or impressed me. .... these puter things are real touchy about the words that you put in... thanks again.>

A goat/sheep halter works real well for those little bitty calves.
